The University of Patras, having adopted extroversion as a structural element of its operation, participates in cooperation schemes with other Universities and local government bodies, promoting the modern concept of active presence in scientific and wider social developments. The launch of the joint venture of the two institutions with the Municipality of Ancient Olympia will form the basis for scientific interaction, further strengthening the development course and international perspective and recognition of the academic community.

The various scientific actions included in the Memorandum of Understanding will mark, by defining an active role in the coming years, an innovative partnership with multiplier benefits in research and learning. The complementarity of the cooperating institutions, the continuous strengthening and support of the actors identified under the Memorandum will ensure success and the expected added value.
