Cultural Venues IOANNINA - In the premises of the building of the Society for Epirotic Studies there is the Cultural Centre "Konstantinos Katsaris" in honor of the benefactor of the Society. The hall hosts cultural activities, lectures, book presentations and many other open events in which many people participate, giving the Cultural Center the characterization "People's University" of Ioannina. The space is decorated with floor paintings, furniture and engravings to evoke the aesthetics of traditional epirotic mansions. The hall has a capacity of 250 people and an additional 30 people in the balcony. The events are supported by projection, lighting and microphones. Events at the Mansion of the Society for Epirotic Studies also take place in the "Kostas Malamos" Hall. The painter and engraver Kostas Malamos worked tirelessly for the establishment of the Municipal Gallery of Ioannina. The hall is dominated by the artist's works.
