VERGOS Auctions’ Fall Auction of Modern Greek Art features 169 selected works by renowned artists at affordable prices in its catalog. The auction will take place online—live—on Wednesday, September 23, at 6:00 p.m.

With estimated prices ranging from €200 to €3,000, this auction offers an excellent opportunity to discover works of Modern Greek art that can serve as the starting point for a new collection or complement an existing one.

Amongst the many items in the auction, the ceramic tile ‘Portrait of a Woman – Hellenic Collectors’ Circle Edition (2010)’ by Yannis Moralis, with an estimated price of €300–400, stands out, the two small-scale (20×10 cm each) works by Yannis Tsarouchis: ‘a) Profile, b) Angel’ with an estimated value of €2,000–3,000, as well as the ceramic piece ‘Motherhood’ by Vasso Katraki with an estimated value of €800–1,200.

The catalog also includes works by many other widely recognized artists, such as Alekos Fassianos, Alexis Akrithakis, Vasilis Sperantzas, Vasilis Fotopoulos, Yannis Gaitis, Yannis Psychopedis, Dimitris Mytaras, Diamantis Diamantopoulos, Marios Prasinos, Nikolaos A. Christopoulos, Nikos Stefanou, Panos Valsamakis, Tasos Mantzavinos, Christos Kagkaras, Christos Bokoros, and Maria Pop.
