“Youth and Europe: a two-way relationship” is the theme of the 4th Forum on Human Rights, organized by the Centre for European Legal Culture of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 November 2022, at the Municipal Hall of Thessaloniki, in the Municipal Council Meeting Room.

The co-organizers of the Forum are the National Committee for Human Rights, the Region of Central Macedonia, the Municipality of Thessaloniki, the Thessaloniki Bar Association, the Law School of AUTH, as well as the student groups of AUTH: THARSYN, IAESTE, Best, EEFIE.

2022 is the European Year of Youth, which highlights the importance of European youth in building a better future. According to the organizers, the aim of the Forum is “to give the opportunity to students and graduates of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki to express their opinion on the European Union’s contribution to improving their living conditions and to make their proposals for the future. To make the European Union a true political union of equality, solidarity and equal opportunities for all. A safe environment where they can make their dreams come true.

The two-day conference will be divided into six sessions on the following themes: The contribution of the EU”, “Youth employment and entrepreneurship in the EU”, “Health and young people in the EU”, “Culture and youth in the EU”, “Climate change and the environment: young people’s attitudes towards European policies” and “Youth participation in the EU decision-making process”.

The speakers are students and graduates of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the speakers are the professors of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
