The exhibition of the Tinos Artists Association of Visual Arts entitled ” Discovery and Rediscoveries” continues at the Cultural Foundation of Tinos with a significant turnout.

The two-century anniversary of the discovery in Tinos of the miraculous Icon of the Virgin Mary gives 26 artists of the Association and their invited colleagues an occasion for artistic approaches to the event of the Discovery and the history and customs surrounding it. These approaches combine the timeless with the contemporary.

It is an exhibition that includes works of Sculpture, Printmaking Workshop, Painting, Photography, Installation, New Media, Video Art, through which the participating artists redefine the event of Discovery.

Hence the choice of the title of the exhibition “Discovery and Rediscoveries” by the curator Mr.  N. P. Paisios.
