The University of Patras, the third higher education institution in the country in terms of number of students, academic departments and staff, designed and built the Conference and Cultural Centre (CCC) on the University campus, aiming to contribute to the better and more effective conduct of scientific and other conferences and meetings, as well as the further cultural development of the city of Patras and the wider region of Western Greece. It is the ambition of the University of Patras to make the Conference and Cultural Centre such a pole of attraction and a lever for the development of the cultural life of the region.

The Conference & Cultural Centre of the University of Patras belongs to the Department of Museums, Conference & Cultural Centres and Related Structures of the Directorate of Public Relations and Extroversion.

Among the specific objectives of the University of Patras Cultural and Cultural Centre is the hosting of conferences, symposia and seminars, music, theatre and other cultural events of high quality. The premises are available, upon request, to other institutions for the organization of similar events, in accordance with the provisions of its operating regulations.
